Clifford Sharp

Age 77, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2005. He was born on October 4, 1927 in Athens, MI the son of Vern H. and Golda E. (Weyrick) Sharp. Mr. Sharp enjoyed nature, especially watching deer and sunrises. Clifford also loved watching baseball and enjoyed playing cribbage. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Monna; children, Linda (Chester) Solarz of Columbiaville, Sue (Jerry) Black of Portland, Cheryl Sharp of Portland, Clifford (Jane) Sharp of Portland, Kathie (Dan) Plowman of Sunfield and Clay (Nancy) Sharp of Portland; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Irene Brickley; brother, Gene (Gloria) Sharp of Donna, TX. The Funeral Service was conducted by the Rev. Mark Ralph, Pastor of Sunfield United Brethren Church, at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2005 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland. Interment took place at North Eagle Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, in memory of Mr. Clifford M. Sharp.
