Sandborn, Colleen Mae Portland Age 80 passed away September 23, 2005. She was born on May 28, 1925 at 449 Looking Glass Ave in Portland the daughter of Clarence Benton and Jessica Louise (Collison) Arnold. Colleen loved and lived in Portland all her life. For many years she was an active member of the Portland United Methodist Church. From 1952-1981 she owned and operated Russ's Sunoco station on E. Grand River Rd. in Portland with her husband, Russell Sandborn who passed away in 1988. Surviving are her sons, Robert (Victoria) and Larry (Elaine) Sandborn; brother, Richard (JoAnn) Arnold and a sister, Donna Weaver; grandchildren Sara, Mari, Stacey, Renee, and Deena; 8 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Gregory R. Wolfe at 1:30 p.m., Monday, September 26, 2005 at Portland United Methodist Church, 310 E. Bridge St.. Interment will follow in Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.
