Trierweiler, Colleen M. Portland Age 66, passed away, February 2, 2004 aftera long couragous battle with cancer. She was born on May 6, 1937 in Portland the daughter of Leo and Philomena (Huhn) Hoppes. Mrs. Trierweiler was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the VFW Post #4090 Ladies Auxiallry. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Stanley (Joan) Hoppes and Gerald Hoppes and a brother-in-law, Richard Kelly. Surviving are loving husband of 44 years, William H.; children, Brenda (Kevin) Schneider of Westphalia, David (Jan) Trierweiler of Holt, Steven (Linda) Trierweiler of Portland and Lisa (Mark) Bartlett of Portland; Grandchildren, Mitchell, Olivia, and Lesley Schneider, Lucas and Casey Richardson, Emma and William Trierweiler, Cameron, Sydney and Karlie Bartlett; 6 brothers, Leon (Geraldine) Hoppes, Richard (Carol Hoppes, James (Sharon) Hoppes, Eugene (Alice) Hoppes, Lawrence (Dee Dee) Hoppes, and Thomas (Jill) Hoppes; sister-in-law, Mary Hoppes; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Charles D. Hall, Pastor at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 6, 2004 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Portland. Rite of Committal will be in Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. The rosaries will be prayed 3 and 8 p.m., Wednesday and 3 p.m., Thursday and a scriptural wake service will be held at 8 p.m., Thursday. For those wishing contributions may be made to the Fr. Flohe Foundation in memory of Mrs. Trierweiler.
