Daleann Jepson Wickerink Ionia Age 56, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at Stoneleigh Residence in Lansing. She was born on July 21, 1951 in Ionia the daughter of Dale Jr. and Mildred (Friend) Jepson. Daleann graduated in 1969 from Ionia High School. She will be remembered most for her sense of humor. She was able to find the funny side of every situation, even if it was at her own expense. She loved her family, which included those she worked with at Ionia Community Education, and was steadfastly loyal to them. She also loved the many friends she made from all walks of life. Her passing will leave a huge void in the lives of those who had the privilege to know her. Daleann is preceded in death by her father, Dale K. Jepson Jr. Surviving are her mother, Mildred Jepson; daughter, Alison (Chris) Taylor; sisters, Amanda (Jerry) McConnell, Virginia (John) Whitham and Nancy (Wayne) Alexander; aunt, Janet Jepson; life-long friend, Marcia (Hague) Culp; nieces and nephews, Mark McConnell, Brenda Ritter, Elizabeth Whitham, Daniel Whitham, Leigh Flagel and Joel VanHarn; and several great-nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia; with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ionia Area Hospice in Daleann’s name.
