David Eugene Seitz Eagle David passed away Sunday April 27th, 2008 at the age of 61. David was born in Lansing, Michigan on June 11th, 1946. He attended Eastern High School and after graduation joined the United States Marine Corps where he became an honored expert marksman. After his service he returned to Michigan where he built a home and a life in Portland. He was a master carpenter, but mostly a Jack of all trades. David enjoyed the great outdoors and everything it had to offer. He was an avid hunter, fisher and golfer. He was also know to raise an animal or two, and anyone who knew him, knew of Maggie. He was loved by all who knew him, and would go out of his way for you even if he didn't know you very well. David is survived by his two children, David Adam Seitz and Sheila Renee Seitz. He also leaves behind many relatives, friends and acquaintances who respected and loved him. "Semper Fi" David, our local grizzly Adams. A Time of Remembrance wil be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.
