Age 52, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. She was born on January 18, 1957 in Lansing, MI. She was a Nutritional Therapist for Ionia County Memorial Hospital for several years. She loved riding with her husband on their motorcycle, crocheting, and her special dogs. She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Jean Mather. Surviving are her husband of 15 years, Kevin Wohlscheid of Harrison; son, Abrum (Jennifer) Stanke of Portland; step son, Charles Brent Wohlscheid of Mississippi; 3 grandchildren, Shelby and Daniel Stanke, and Connor Shane Wohlscheid; father, Duane (Donna) Mather of Olivet; siblings, Mike (Dorothy) Mather of Eagle, and Linda (Art) Giffen of Lansing; father-in-law, Robert Wohlscheid of Ionia; mother-in-law, Iola Clemens of Laurel, Mississippi. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Portland with Rev. Roy Atherton, officiating. Interment will follow at Keefer Cemetery, Orange Township, MI. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to the American Heart Association in memory of Mrs. Deborah A. Wohlscheid.
