Age 45, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. She was born on August 6, 1966 in Ionia, MI the daughter of Russell M. and Berneice F. (Farrell) Ward. Debra was a smart, kind, thoughtful, very reliable and self-less person. She loved children immensely, was the best babysitter, and was considered a second mom to many. She also loved cooking, trivia, and had a fantastic singing voice. Preceding her in death were her parents and grandparents. Surviving are her husband of 23 years, John Tucker; son, Patrick Tucker; siblings, Russell (Dorothy) Ward, Barbara (Gaius) Lepley, Jeannette (Rollin) Alexander, and Larry (Mary) Ward; many nieces and nephews. The Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Lehman Funeral Homes, 220 Rich Street, Ionia, with Rev. Tom Rundell of Shiloh Church, presiding. A luncheon will follow the service at Shiloh Community Church. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
