Dennis R. Zander Belding Age 67, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2010 after a lengthy illness surrounded by his family. He was born on August 13, 1942 in Ionia the son of Francis and Meta (Wendland) Zander. Dennis enjoyed golfing and camping and loved his Harley Davidson. He retired after 38 years from Local 340 Ironworkers in Battle Creek. On July 2, 1977 he married Linda Knapp and together they shared 33 years of marriage. Surviving are his wife, Linda; children Dennis (Kelly) Zander of Belding, Sherrie (Brian) Cantile of Belding, Larry (Kim) Zander of Belding, Steven (Tracy) Plummer of South Bend, IN., Scott (Reenie) Plummer of Edwardsburg, MI., Sandi VanCamp of Rockford, Leslie (Robert) Engle of Ionia, Daniel (Ashley) Zander of Greenville; 20 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters Joyce (Ed) Rutz and Linda (Louis) Agostini both of Ionia; brothers Gale (Leona) Zander of Orleans and Gary Zander of Ionia; several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be conducted by Pastor Kenneth Harger at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Shiloh Community Church, 8197 Heth St., Orleans. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gradens, Ionia. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia.
