Donald J. Remboski, Sr. Portland Age 79, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013. He was born on July 19, 1933 in Dearborn the son of Felix and Anna Remboski. Donald was a longtime member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Don was a resident of Portland for 46 years residing on the scenic and tranquil Grand River, and he was a "do it yourself" type of man. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Army and with the Army Corp. of Engineers, and he was decorated with the Good Conduct Medal. He worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at the Chrysler Corporation for 46 years. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Susan (Kress); children: Donald (Barbara) Remboski, Jr of Ann Arbor, Stephen (Cherie) Remboski of Los Angeles, CA, Rita (Michael) Fujimagari of New Bern, NC, and Thomas (Linda) Remboski of Portland; grandchildren: Jacob, Margaret, Matthew, James and Cassidy; brother, Charles Remboski of Dearborn, MI; sister-in-law, Donelda Stechschulte of Owosso; brother-in-law, William (Ellen) Kress of Chesaning. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland with Rev. Larry King presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. The rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. and the Scripture Wake Service at 8 p.m.. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to the Fr.
