Doris M. (Maxfield) Shoen Portland, MI Age 82, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014. She was born on November 22, 1931 in Sheridan, MI the daughter of Mathew and Frances Maxfield. Doris married Alfred Shoen of Crystal on February 11, 1950, and he preceded her in death in 1983. Also preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Cynthia Blundy in 1976; sister, Beatrice Maxfield in 2010; brother, Bud Maxfield. Surviving are her children, Steven (Betsy) Shoen of Barryton, MI, Kathy (Dan) Weller of Portland, Karen (Dan) Blundy of Portland, Gordon Shoen of Lansing, and Douglas Shoen of Lansing; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Helen (Harold) Edwards of Sheridan, and Ellen Rule of Sheridan; sister-in-law, Juanita Stokely of Lakeview.
