Hilma Dorothy Clawson Bronson, MI; formerly of Portland, MI Age 72, passed away on September, 25 2014. She was born in Hartford, CT on February 5, 1942 the daughter of Albert and Dorothy (Jones) Eaton. Dorothy enjoyed crossstiching, the Girl Scouts, and shopping. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, David in 2003. Surviving are her children, Charles (Kwong Sun) Clawson, II of Georgia, William Clawson of Quincy, David C.M. Clawson, Jr. of Columbus, Georgia, Clifford (Joy) Clawson of Bronson, Sharon (Jason) Moore of Coldwater, and Noel Clawson of Bronson; 16 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Christine (Eric) French, Ruth Roy, Pamela (David) Grant, and Audrey (Donald) Singleton. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2014 at Lehman Funeral Homes, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland, with Pastor Gary Coleman of the First Baptist Church presiding. Interment will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
