Douglas N. Lafler Coldwater, MI; formerly of Ionia Age 49, passed away on December 30, 2007. He was born on March 29, 1958 in Ionia the son of Dale and Margaret (Handlon) Lafler. He spent his life helping people, spending most of his time working in an adult foster care home. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his brother, John Lafler of Ionia and several aunts and cousins. A memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Melvin Fox, Pastor of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia.
