Edward R. Lenneman Westphalia, Michigan Age 83, peacefully passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014. He was born on November 6, 1931 in Clinton County, Michigan, a two pound miracle baby, the son of Edward M. and Elizabeth (Gensterblum) Lenneman. Mr. Lenneman was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and served in the U.S. Army. Edward was a life-long farmer, and also retired from John Deere Company. He enjoyed baseball and bowling. Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Steven Lenneman; grandson, Douglas DeRose; siblings, Gerald Lenneman, Ronald Lenneman, Ester Nurenberg, Lillian Fox, and Eugene Lenneman; in-laws, Elmer Nurenberg, Lester Fox, and Jennette Lenneman. Surviving are his wife, Constance Lenneman; children, Ann (Bill) Face, Gary (Sandy) Lenneman, Mary (Bill) Lantzy, Rita (Eric) Wright, and Donna (Steve) Robbins; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Betty Honsowitz and Joanne McLeod; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Lenneman and Sophia Lenneman. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 19, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Westphalia, with Rev. Eric Weber presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Westphalia. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia. Rosaries will be prayed at 8 p.m. Wednesday, and 3 p.m. Thursday, and a Scriptural Wake Service held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.
