Edwin Schueller

Age 94, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2005. He was born on April 5, 1911 in Pewamo, MI the son of Joseph and Anna (Lenneman) Schueller. Mr. Schueller was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, and also a member of the St. Joseph's Society. Ed retired from T.R.W. after many years of service. He loved to play cards and do yardwork, especially tending to flowers. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Laurine; brothers, Ronald, Joseph, Richard, Robert and Mark; sister, Erma Schueller. Surviving are 6 children, Bernice Schueller of St. Johns, Eugene (Laraine) Schueller of Portland, Larry (Nancy) Schueller of Portland, Darlene (Phil) Hulings of Thorton, CO, Karen (Don) Spohn of Laingsburg and Brian Schueller of Charlotte; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brothers, Paul (Gladys) Schueller of St. Johns and James (Irene) Schueller of Grand Rapids; brother-in-law, Arnold Nurenberg of Westphalia; many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Cecilio Reyna, Pastor, at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2005 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Westphalia. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Westphalia. The family will receive friends at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia St., Westphalia from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Rosaries will be prayed at 8 p.m. Thursday, and 3 p.m. Friday. A Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday. Complete arrangements are entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Fr. Al Miller Educational Trust, or to the Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, in memory of Mr. Edwin M. Schueller.
