Eileen Lower

Age 78, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010. She was born on September 4, 1931 in Sheridan, MI the daughter of Carl and Arlean (Clarke) Lund. Mrs. Lower retired from Berger Motor Sales after many years of service. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where she was baptised and confirmed on August 24, 1950. She then married Mr. Phillip Lower on September 16, 1950 and together they shared 45 years of marriage until his passing in 1995. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Carl Lund and Arlean Robinson. Surviving are her children, Thomas (Kitty) Lower, Daniel (Gail) Lower, Eric (Traccie) Lower, and Teresa (Anthony) Antonetti; 16 grandchidren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Lund and sister, Deborah Hendricks; several nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Antony Britto, presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday. A rosary will be prayed at 7:30 pm.
