Eleanora Marie Klein Pewamo Age 93, beloved mother, grandmother and sister passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 24, 1921 the daughter of Henry and Clara (Schafer) Weber. Eleanora was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo and worked at Beckers Bridal in Fowler for 72 years. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing, quilting, crocheting, and making Christmas cookies. Eleanora was a kind hearted, generous spirit, who was extremely dedicated to her faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph Klein, Jr.; siblings Donald and Thomas Weber, Josetta (Klein) Lynn and Margie Smith. Surviving are children Donald (Nancy) Klein, Donna (Gene) Schrauben, Letha (Gene) Goodman, Hank (Jan) Klein, Roger (Nancy) Klein, Theresa (Phill) Combs and David (Beth) Klein; 20 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; siblings Clare (Dora) Weber, SSJ Theresa Weber, Anthony (Ann) Weber and Ed (Carolyn) Weber; sisters-in-law Mary Lou Weber and Jeanette Pohl, and many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Charlon O. Mason at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 11, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 7-9 p.m., at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia St., Westphalia. The rosaries will be prayed at 3 and 8 p.m. on Saturday and a Scripture Service will be prayed at 8 p.m., Sunday.
