Estella Fox

Age 85, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2004.  She was born on September 12, 1918 in Portland, MI the daughter of Michael and Minne (Burger) Fedewa.  Mrs. Fox was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Portland V.F.W. Post #4090 Ladies Auxiliary.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Margo Fox; brothers, Kenneth and Clement Fedewa; sister, Marguerite Fernholz.  Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Gilbert Fox of Portland; 2 sons, Michael (Sue) Fox and Lynn (Wendy) Fox, both of Portland; 8 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Donna Fedewa of Lyons; several nieces and nephews.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Shamaun Beas, Associate Pastor at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2004 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Portland.  Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.  Rosaries will be prayed at 8 p.m. Saturday, and 3 and 8 p.m. Sunday.  For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Fr. Flohe Foundation, c/o St. Patrick's Parish, 140 Church Street, Portland, MI  48875.
