<P>Age 85, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2004.&nbsp; She was born on August 7, 1918 in Lyons, MI the daughter of Rex and Marian (Bennett) VanDyne, and she moved to Portland in 1959.&nbsp; Mrs. Erridge loved playing cards and bingo, enjoyed watching birds and was an avid reader.&nbsp; Evelyn is retired from Fisher Body, and she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Erridge in 1994.&nbsp; Surviving are her children, Raymond (Mary) Bugbee of Portland, William (Mary Ann) Erridge of Trufant, Sandra (Roger) Trierweiler of Trufant, Judy (David) Courtney of Lake, MI., Katherine (Clyde) Stewart of Muir, Pamela Fisher of Lyons, and Deborah (Dennis) Perry of Trufant; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters by marriage, Margaret Jones of Ionia and Laura VanDyne of Lyons; very special friends, Gary (Terry) Hoppes, Doris Shoen, and Mae Lehman.&nbsp; The Memorial Service will be conducted by the Rev. Paul Bailey at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2004 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland.&nbsp; </P>
