Lyons Age 64, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, September 2, 2011. He was born on December 16, 1946 the son of Forrest Sr. and Opal (Underhill) Shattuck. Forrest enjoyed tinkering on things, story telling, coin collecting and fishing. He Loved his family dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mickey Mizner and BillieJo Shattuck; brother-in-law, Cy Mizner and best friend Dave McCain. Surviving are his wife Shirley; children, Pam (Rob Seeley) Meyers, Shawn Shattuck and Justin Shattuck; grandchildren, Jessica Lee, Tyffani Raines and Douglas Raines; great- grandchildren, Keagan Jo Prescott and Wyatte James Stevenson; siblings, Sandy Mizner, Judy (Walt) Brown, Jean (Jesse Gonzalez) Foster and Becky (Steve) Peters; in-laws, Cleo (Louise) Scutt. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. Interment will follow at Tuttle Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M.. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
