Age 96, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2005. He was born on September 20, 1908 in Portland, MI the son of Joseph J. and Pauline (Platte) Trierweiler. Mr. Trierweiler was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Portland, and was a former member of the church choir. Frederick was also a member of the Portland Knights of Columbus Council # 2168, and was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Theodora (Klein) Trierweiler; son-in-law, Bill Sines; great grandson, Steven E. Hunt III; 3 sisters; 5 brothers. Surviving are his children, Judy (Don) Sorenson of Greenville, Dan Trierweiler of Rockford, Barbara Sines of Portland, Carolyn (Bill) Bengel of Mecosta, Bonnie (Rich) Schmitt of Lansing, Marlene Green of Manchester and Janice (Daniel) Beech of Portland; brother, Gerald Trierweiler of Livonia; 20 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; current wife, Myrtle Trierweiler of Grand Ledge. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2005 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Portland, with the Rev. Larry King, Pastor, presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. A Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. and a Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m..
