Geraldine Marie Burhans Lowell, MI; formerly of Portland, MI Age 83, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2007. She was born on December 4, 1923. Geraldine enjoyed watching TV, especially Animal Planet. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting her sister, Donna. Geraldine is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Allen Burhans; sons, William, Larry and Bobby; and her parents. Surviving are children, Pat (Ervin) Zinnel of North Dakota, Mary (Bob) Morgan of Lowell, Michigan and Debbie (Don) Newman of Bellevue, Michigan; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 1 brother; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland; with Pastor Paul Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. on Friday and 11-1 p.m. on Saturday before the service.
