Age 53, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012. She was born on January 29, 1959 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Phillip and Julie Brown. Gina was a very compassionate person, always making you smile, and was very artistic as well. She graduated in the Portland High School Class of 1977, and was employed at the Elder Law Firm. Preceding her in death were her step-mother, Julie Brown; mother, Barbara Brown. Surviving are her husband, Ken Brown; daughters, Angela (Seth) Wilson and their daughter, Zoey Jade-Marie Wilson, and Megan (fiance Dustin Baker) Simon; father, Phillip W. Brown; siblings, Lisa (William) Atwell, and Mark (Lynn) Brown; nephews, Ryan (Audrey) Atwell, and Brett Atwell; nieces, Whitney and Haley Brown. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2012 at Lehman Funeral Homes, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland, with Pastor Ed Filter of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Portland, presiding.
