Age 84, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2009. She was born on January 16, 1925 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Sorn and Anna (Christensen) Sorensen. She was a graduate of the Harper Hospital School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Pugsley; brother Arther and sister Anne. Surviving are her children: Bob (Karen) Pugsley of Belding and Carole (Bruce) Quondamatteo of Wyoming, MI; 3 grandchildren, Heather Pugsley, Heidi (Brian) Cummings, and Holly (Andy) Brokaw; 1 great granddaughter, Brie Cummings. The Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Harger at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia with interment following at Tuttle Cemetery.
