Age 102, wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2010. She was born on November 21, 1907 in Carson City, MI the daughter of John and Pearl (Loucks) Musser. Before 1927, Mrs. Bloomfield lived in Carson City, Stanton, and the Greenville areas, and then moved to Palo until 1984 when she arrived in Ionia. She was a great home maker and also drove school bus for Palo Schools and retired as a seemstress from the Chrysler Trim Plant in 1973. She was a self taught piano player, who could recite poems up to the very end. She was the best mother-in-law a son-in-law could have. She married Lloyd I. Brown and he preceded her in death; She then married Ray Bloomfield and he also preceded her in death, along with 2 sons, Harold (Jenice) Brown and Eugene Brown. Surviving are her children, Betty Brown (Ferris) Dickinson of Ionia, Pearlene Brown Woodbury of Ionia, Caroline Brown (Robert) Nagy of Lowell, Freda Brown (Ed) Ehl of Ionia; 10 grandchildren; Many great and great great grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia with Rev. Kenneth Harger, presiding. Interment will follow at Palo Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 pm. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Shiloh Community Church or to the Heartland Healthcare Center, in memory of Mrs. Goldie M. Brown Bloomfield.
