Portland Age 80, passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Guy was born on February 9, 1931 the son of William and Crystal (Beebe) Bigford. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, geneology and his family. Guy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Patricia Ann and several siblings. Surviving are his wife Phyllis; children, Mary (David) Burcham, Jo Ann Yaw, Guy (Karen) Bigford and Melanie (George) Garrett; 3 step-children; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; 1 brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be at The Church of Latter-Day Saints, 7943 Keefer Hwy, Portland, MI 48875 on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00-1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
