Harold Ralston Obituary

Harold J. Ralston Muskegon, formerly of Montague Age 81, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2007. He was born the son of Arthur and Edna (Goen) Ralston on February 3, 1925 in Cedar, Michigan. He attended Ionia High School and in 1943 he joined the U.S. Army where he served during World War II in Italy. He was a former member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ionia and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He worked at the Muskegon Mental Health Department in the Transportation Division. He resided formerly in Montague and currently lived in Norton Shores in Muskegon. He married the former Eilleen Krywanski on October 9, 1965 in Ionia and she preceded him in death on December 3, 1997. Surviving are his nieces Marilyn (Floyd) Dilley of Muir, Donna (John) Grill of Ionia, Joyce (Ed) Potocny of Muir, Louise Houghton of Twin Lakes, Michigan, and Mary Pierce of Holland, nephews Mickey Fenn of Grand Rapids, Tim (Barbara) Fenn of Saranac, and Glenn (Rebecca) Griffith of St. Stevens, Alabama. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Melvin Fox at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. Rite of Committal will take place in the Spring at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Church on Wednesday.
