Harold Gene Remington Portland, Michigan Age 65, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. He was born on March 19, 1948 in Portland, Michigan. Harold retired from the State of Michigan, Department of Management & Budget after 30 plus years of service. He enjoyed hunting and various family events. Preceding him in death were his parents, Harold and Loretta Remington; brother, Edward Remington. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Linda Remington; daughter, Melissa (Matt) Reay; son, Jason (Lynsey Adams) Remington; grandchildren, Madelyn, Jarrod and Brantley Reay, and Ashlyn Remington; sister, Karen Remington; brother, Robert (Katie) Remington; mother-in-law, Phyllis McNeil; numerous nieces and nephews; 2 sisters-in-law; 2 brothers-in-law; uncle, Ralph Oxendale; step father, Odes Posey. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Lehman Funeral Homes, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. Interment will follow at Danby Township Cemetery, Portland.
