Helen G. Davies Portland, Michigan Formerly of Grafton, North Dakota Helen died peacefully at the age of 92 on May 4, 2007 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born in Grafton, North Dakota on October 30, 1914, to Julia and Henry Holt. Helen was preceded in her death by her husband, Jack W. Davies. She will be missed by her children; Pat Cubbage (George), Bill Davies, Bonnie Davies, Catherine Hoort (David) and daughter-in-law, Sopar Davies. Helen was the proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She attended Grafton High School and worked hard all her life in a variety of occupations ranging from beautician to salesperson to sorority housemother. Grandma was a great cook and loved to treat her children and grandchildren to far more pancakes than anyone should consume. Helen never ended a day without thanking God for his blessings and asking that he help her to grow more kind and loving every day. She was a blessing to so many and will live in our hearts forever. A memorial service will be held at Tollefson Funeral Home, Grafton, North Dakota on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 4:00 p.m.
