Helen A. Fox Pewamo, Michigan Age 86, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013. She was born on April 27, 1927 in Westphalia, MI the daughter of Anthony and Anna (Harr) Droste. Mrs. Fox was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pewamo, as well as a member of the Altar Society. Helen enjoyed playing cards, bingo, going to the casino, Scrabble, and ice fishing with her husband, Paul. Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Julie; brothers, John Droste and James Droste; sisters, Bernadine Alexander and Florence Cook. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Paul Fox; children, Paula Fox, Charles (Cindy) Fox, Peggy Fox, and Robert (Judy) Fox; son-in-law, Luke Martin; grandson, Joseph (fiancee, Nicole Porubsky) Martin; step-grandson, Brad (Sarah) Brandt; great granddaughter, Isabella Rosalie Bair-Martin. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 6, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Pewamo, with the Rev. Charlon O. Mason presiding. Rite of Committal will take place at a later date in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Pewamo. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia. Rosaries will be prayed at 3 and 8 p.m. on Sunday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Hospice, in memory of Helen.
