Age 91, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2005. She was born on July 20, 1914 in Westphalia, MI the daughter of Albert and Helena (Klein) Fedewa. Mrs. Pung was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, as well as a member of the Christian Mothers. Helen enjoyed baking, spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing cards and bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard M. Pung; sons, Richard A. "Butch" and Paul Pung; 2 brothers; 3 sisters. Surviving are her children, Pauline (Don) Schafer of Eagle, Mary Theresa (Mike) Gross of Eagle, Helen (LaVern) Carr of Portland, Roger Pung of Tampa, FL, Pete (Connie) Pung of Westphalia and Dennis (Julie) Pung of Westphalia; daughter-in-law, Judy Pung of Eagle; 29 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; sister, Dora Pung of Westphalia; brother, Charles Fedewa of Westphalia; sister-in-law, Grace Fedewa of Westphalia. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2005 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Portland, with the Rev. Larry King, Pastor presiding. Rite of Committal will take place later that day at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Westphalia. The family will receive friends at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Rosaries will be prayed at 3 and 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. A Vigil Service will be held at 8 p.m. on Sunday. Complete arrangements are entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.
