Helen Waldron

Age 100, of Grand Rapids, longtime resident fo Ionia passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2008. She was born on March 15, 1908 in Carthage, Missouri the daughter of Harry P. and Mae S. (Neely) Craigo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle S. Waldron; sons, Douglas and James Waldron. She is survived by her son, Jack (Patricia) Waldron of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Peggy (Kurt) Sattler, Gail (Mark) Sattler, Julie (Marc) Schaffer, Col. Stephen (Marsha) Waldron and Matt (Marjorie) Waldron; daugthers-in-law, Marilyn Shuler and Elaine Waldron; 10 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Larry Brown, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, at 11 am Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia with interment following at Balcom Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 am until service time on Thursday.
