It is with our deepest sympathy to say good bye to Uncle Herman and our best wishes to the May family during these difficult times. Our prayers are with you. All the tributes to this great man cannot be overstated. My father James, Uncle Herman's brother thought the world of his his younger brother, his zest for life and his service to our country and as my father often said without men like Herman do not come along often. He also told me that none of us would be here without his commitment and the commitment of others. Now its time to give him the praise he deserves and say goodbye at this time. My father called a National Hero and I doubt seriously that many had the respect for anyone like he did. My father worked with Herman for over 40 years at Beecher's in Detroit and I know they were fond memories. I thought the day would never come that I am now the oldest of the May family. Rest In Peace and say hello to my dad in heaven. Jim & Carole May Hernando, Mississippi
