St. Johns, Michigan Age 69, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2008 at his home. He was born on August 1, 1939 in Grand Rapids the son of John and Ruth (Quarton) Trumble. Jim owned and operated a pharmaceutical business for many years. He enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Joan; children James (Amy) Trumble, Teresa (Chris) Thomas, Kathleen (Steve) Selby and John (Debbie) Trumble; step children Joe (Jessi) McCrumb and Terri Miller; 10 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; siblings Patricia (Dale) Kuenzli, Gerald (Eva) Trumble and Cheryl (Larry) Rogers. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Keith Treman, Portland United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 8, 2008 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. Interment will be in East Sebewa Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
