Jamie Benjamin

Portland Age 40, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend passed away on Saturday, august 22, 2009. She was born on March 28, 1969 in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of James Begley and Carol Neil. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Portland. She worked as a controller and general manager at three area hotels in the Portland/Lansing area including the most recent Ramada Inn. Jamie was preceded in death by her grandparents Beatrice Begley, Russell Fenner, Howard Coe and Gerald Benjamin. Surviving are her husband, Randy Benjamin; son Brandon; parents James (Kelly) Begley and Carol (David) Neil; brother Ryan (Kim) Begley; mother and father-in-law Larry and Mary Benjamin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael (Sue) Benjamin, Jodi (Brad) LaCroix, Kurt Benjamin, Kristin (Ken) Hadley, Aaron (Prisilla) Benjamin; several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and many special friends. Funerall Services will be conducted by Pastor Ed Love at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral on Wednesday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the family. She will always be remembered for her outgoing personality and love for life. Her love for her husband Randy and son Brandon was one of a kind and will always be treasured.
