Westphalia Age 93, passed away on March 1, 2009. She was born on January 23, 1916 in Lorain, OH the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Mohar) Kuburcik. Mrs. Pohl was a member of St. Mary's Church in Westphalia and the Christian Mothers Society. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roman in 1995, Son Kenneth Pohl and her son Ron's fiancee, Kim Jones in 2008 as well as 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Surviving are her children Mary Ann (Kenneth) Spitzley of Grand Ledge, Donald (Wendy) Pohl of Westphalia, Ronald Pohl of Stanton and Melvin (Betsy) Pohl of Portland; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister Irma Kaiser of Seal Beach, CA; sister-in-laws Veronica Pohl and Edna Weber. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Cecilio Reyna at 11: 00 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at St. Mary's Parish Hall, Westphalia. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m., Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel. The rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. and the Scriptural Wake Service will be at 8 p.m..
