Jeanette Ann Pohl (Weber) Westphalia, Michigan Jeanette A. Pohl (Weber), age 87, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 11, 2017. She was born March 8, 1930, the daughter of Joseph and Hilda (Thelen) Bengel. Jeanette was a devoted member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Christian Mother’s Society. She enjoyed playing cards, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Jeanette is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Donald Weber; second husband, Arnold Pohl; sisters, Joan Thelen and Adeline Schneider; and brother, Robert Bengel. She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Donna) Weber, Daniel (Linda) Weber, Diane (Donald) Smith, Patty (Al) Piggott, Duane (Ginny) Weber, and Mary (Larry) Hanses; 21 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren, with two on the way; sisters, Rosie (Jerome) Smith and Aggie (Charles) George; brother, Rich (Alice) Bengel; sisters-in-law, Gladys Bengel and Germaine Pohl; brother-in-law, Vern Schneider; and many special nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Eric Weber at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 14, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Westphalia. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia. The rosaries will be prayed on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the chapel. The family would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to Kelly Grys and the staff of Country Living for taking such wonderful care of Jeanette. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
