Jeanette Scheurer Obituary

Age 78, passed away on February 27, 2004 at her home.  She was born on December 3, 1925 in Portland, MI the daughter of Preston and Dora (Becker) Esterline.  She married Kenneth Scheurer on July 15, 1950 at the LeValley United Methodist Church Parsonage.  She was a farmer's wife and was a member of the LeValley United Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Scheurer; daughter, Caroline Jean in 1960; sister, Lorene Weller; grand daughter, Ashley Marie Blood in 1994; surviving are 4 sons, Jim and Phil of Lyons, Ed (Sue Hager) of Ionia, and David (Sheri) of Portland; 2 daughters, Georgia (Tom) Mitchell of Homerville, Georgia, and Jane (Mike) Blood of Fenwick; 9 grandchildren, Michael and Julie Mitchell, Libby and Marcie Scheurer, Grant, Justin, and Zachary Blood, Preston and Peyton Scheurer; 2 step grandchildren, Skyler and Storm Brennan; 3 great grandchildren, Jessup Jusso, Ashleigh and Trenton Brown; sister, Mary Ann (Leroy) Reed of Middleville; brother, Earl (Jean) Esterline of Lowell; 2 sisters-in-law, Jean Hausserman and Maxine Scheurer; brother-in-law, Allen (Berneda) Scheurer; several nieces and nephews.  The Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Mark Johnson, Pastor at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at the LeValley United Methodist Church, Ionia. Interment will take place in the Spring at Keefer Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Cook Chapel, Ionia from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. Monday.  For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the LeValley United Methodist Church in memory of Jeanette E. Scheurer.
