Jeannine Rose Cook<br/>Westphalia<br/>Age 84, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015. She was born on August 27, 1931 the daughter of George and Ida (Schneider) Thelen. Jeannine was a member of St. Mary's Parish in Westphalia and the Christian Mother's Society. She loved to cook and her family and friends were very important to her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Richard "Dick"; her parents; a son, Joey; sisters Anna Knoop, Viola Trierweiler, and Rose Marie Huhn; brothers Alfred, Carl, Ed, Julius, Hilary, Gregory and Claude Thelen. She is survived by her children Kevin (Tamra) Cook, Sandra (Sherry) Cook-Lass, Sharon (Walter) Eifert and Bruce (Sandra) Cook; grandchildren Jerrod Schaefer and Lee (Tiffany) Schaefer, Brianne (Andrew) Kirschke, Josh (Mallina) Cook, Jonathan (Whitney) Cook, Shannon (Timm) Silvernail, Chelsea Cook, Lauren (Ethan Faul) Eifert, Liz (Neil) Barker and Mike Burks; great grandsons Lucas Richard Silvernail, Jack Oliver Silvernail, Harrison Wayne Faul, J.P. Burks and Katie Burks; son-in-law, Brian (Shelley) Schaefer; brother, Richard (Alberta) Thelen; special friend, Millie Droste; many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Eric Weber at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 5, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Westphalia. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia St. The rosaries will be prayed at 3 and 8 p.m. Arrangements are with Lehman Funeral Homes. On line condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.<br/>
