Jerry L. Black Portland, Michigan Age 61, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014. He was born on March 15, 1953 in Sebewa, MI the son of Forrest and Charlotte (Shattuck) Black. Jerry loved vehicles, especially hot rods. He loved and cared for his family, and will be missed by all of them. Preceding him in death were his wife of 42 years, Sue; parents; brother, Ronald. Surviving are his children, Nikki Black, and Jeremy (Beth) Black; grandchildren, Blake, Randy and Amber; sisters, Vivian (Richard) Keehn and Jeanne Templeton; in-laws, Linda (Chester) Solarz, Cheryl (special friend, Bob Arndt) Sharp, Clifford (Jane) Sharp, Kathie (Dan) Plowman, and Clay (Nancy) Sharp; many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Lehman Funeral Homes, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland, with Rev. Dr. Marilyn V. Danielson, Pastor of the First Congregational Church presiding. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
