PAID OBITUARY-PORTLAND R & O JoAnn M. Proctor Lyons, MI Age 57, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012. She was born on June 28, 1954 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Norm and Jennette (Meyers) Winter. JoAnn was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend. JoAnn did taxes and was a member of the Grand River Conservation Club and the Verlen Kruger Memorial committee. She loved canning, her flower beds, ponds and hummingbirds, pontooning, garage sales, and her dogs and granddog. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-laws, Sue and Cindy. Surviving are her husband, Ronald "Joe" Proctor, whom she was with for 32 years, and married to for the past 14 years. Also surviving are her children, Trisa (Michael) Ward, Nathan (Taylor) Ward, and Katie (Dustan Burhans) Proctor; step children, Shari (Robert) Trefil and Joe (Megan) Proctor; grandchildren, Nathan, Tiara, Grace, Cierra, Zackary, Reece, Joey, Chaz, Truman, Ashton, Mekael, Tytan, Kiarrah, and Steele; brothers, Sam (Mona) Winter, Jim (Lee Ann) Winter, Ed (Char) Winter, Al (Diane) Winter, Tom Winter, Jeff (Jan) Winter, and Mike (Lynn) Winter; brother-in-laws, Jack Proctor, John Proctor, and Don Proctor. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Lehman Funeral Homes, Portland, with the Rev. Dr. Marilyn V. Danielson, Pastor of the First Congregational Church, Portland, presiding. Interment will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes, Portland.
