Joseph John Rich Long Lake, formerly of Portland Joseph J. Rich, age 72, passed away March 2, 2017. He was born September 5, 1944 to John and Edna (Swallow) Rich. Joseph is survived by his wife, Deb (Rowan) Rich; children, Marcy Lay and Loren Rich; step-children, Andrea, Alisa, and Jamie; grandchildren, Nicholas Lay, Nathan (Olivia) Lay, Stephanie (Kaleb) Lay, Tori (Sean) Thelen, and Beau Rich; several step-grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, Charli and Fisher Thelen. The Memorial Service will be conducted by Pastor John VanDop at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Lyons-Muir Church. Interment will be at Portland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lyons-Muir Church (1074 Olmstead Road, Muir, MI 48860) in honor of Joseph. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
