Age 50, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009. She was born on September 28, 1959 in Alma, MI the daughter of James E. and Clarice C. (Moeggenborg) Decker. She was an accountant for the Lansing Board of Water and Light for 26 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Todd Jarrad; mother Clarice Decker. Surviving are her son, Taylor "TJ" Jarrad of Portland; father, James (Linda) Decker of Williamston; 2 brothers, Jerry (Julie) Decker of Philadelphia, PA and John (Doreen) Decker of Naperville, IL; 4 nieces and 1 nephew. The Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Portland with Rev. Larry King presiding. Interment will take place later at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Hospice of Lansing, in memory of Mrs. Julie Jarrad.
