Kevin Paul Becker Portland Age 32, passed away on May 6, 2008. Kevin was veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the N.R.A.. He enjoyed playing cards, was an avid Michigan fan and loved football. He was preceded in death by his dad, Jerry Fernholz in 2005 and grandparents Ken and Ruth Becker and George and Dorothy Goodman. Surviving are his mother, Gladys Fernholz; siblings Joe Becker of Lansing, Keith (Lisa) Becker of Virginia Beach, VA, Monika (Nick) Ferris and Kendra (Troy) Miller both of Ionia; Nieces and nephews Emily and Wyatt Becker, Brooke and Cullen Tiemann and Zach Ferris; many special aunts, uncles and cousins. The Funeral Service will be conducted by Pastor Kenneth Harger, Shiloh Community Church at 2:00 p.m., Monday , May 12, 2008 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. Interment will follow at Portland Cemetery. Military Graveside Honors will be provided by the V.F.W. Post #4090. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
