May 6, 1964 – Jan. 20, 2011 Although death is a natural part of life, the harsh reality of its touch on our lives is heart rendering. What are left behind are the memories that we will cherish for whatever time we have left in life. I’m finding that as I write this, the words seem flat and lacking in color and vibrancy when I try to use them to describe Kyle. Those of us who have had the unique opportunity of having him touch our lives know what I mean. Kyle is survived by his wife, Melissa; daughters, Rowan Starkweather and Jennifer Lewis; sons, Ryan Starkweather and David Lewis; mother, Diane Starkweather; sister Kelly Stark; and brothers Conan Starkweather and Shane Starkweather. Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Roger Starkweather. A memorial to celebrate his life and our memories will be hosted from 3 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011 at 4980 W. Tupper Lake Road (M-50, Lake Odessa), at the corner of M-50 and Bliss Road. Instead of flowers, anyone wishing to may make a donation to the children’s educational fund at any Fifth Third Bank – Starkweather Memorial Fund.
