LeVern McQueen
Pewamo Age 71, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 6, 2011. LeVern was born on August 20, 1939 in Greenville, the son of Clarence and Bessie (Night) McQueen. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. LeVern enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tractors. He married Carol (Schneider) McQueen and they shared a true successful love story together. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and great grandaughter, Olivia Ann Merrifield. Surviving are his children, Robert (Mary Ellen) McQueen, William (Bobbi Jo) McQueen, Cheryl (John) Root, Sheila McQueen (Tom Zeigler), Sharon Kay (Neal) Becker and LeVern Jay (Gwen) McQueen; grandchildren, Andrea, Kenny, Autumn, Katie, Savannah, Cheyenne, Brooklyn, Tara, Brian, Nathan, Zachary, Carol, Chelsea, Nicki, Nicole, Amber, Jonathan, Erica, Erin, and Daniel; 22 great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, at St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia St., Westphalia. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
