Lois Zeigler Obituary

Lois Mary Zeigler Ionia Age 80, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2007. She was born on April 10, 1927 in Belding, Michigan the daughter of Edwin and Mabel (Miller) Bakeman. Lois was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a direct decendent of Swiss immigrants. She enjoyed scrapbooking, macramé, traveling, golfing and was an avid reader. Lois loved visiting her family. On March 26, 1947 she married Richard Zeigler in Belding. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Lois is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Richard; children, James (Carol) Zeigler of Belding, Thomas Zeigler of Ionia, Steven (Sakorn) Zeigler of Melbourne, FL, and Kirk (Loretta) Zeigler of Palm Bay, FL; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church, Ionia; with Pastor Larry Brown officiating.Interment will follow in Belding Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia.
