Ionia Age 52 passed away June 13, 2006. She was born on November 3, 1953 the daughter of Kenneth and Marguerite (Cline) Randall. Lorraine enjoyed shopping, reading, and circle word searches. She loved and collected teddy bears. Mrs. Ross worked at Alticor for 17 years and at N. LeValley School and Spaulding School. She loved her family dearly especially her grandson Will. Lorraine was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth; mother-in-law, Ethel Cook and brother-in-law, Dan Ross. Surviving are her loving husband of 33 years, Ernie Ross of Ionia; daughters: Melanie (Bill) Laffert, Jr. of Kentwood and Melissa (Dennis) O'Connor of Freeport; Grandson, Will Laffert; Mother, Marguerite Randall of Ionia; sisters: Barbara Pearson of Greenville and Teresa (Mike) Wireman of Ionia; father-in-law, Bob Ross and his very special friend, Lorraine Edwards of Ionia; sister-in-laws: Linda (Rick) Steele of Ionia and Cathy Ross of Auburn, Washington; brother-in-law, Jim (Lynn) Ross of Kalamazoo and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor David C. Fleming at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2006 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia, MI. Interment will be in Easton Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia Chapel.
