Lynn Miller Obituary

Age 80, Lyons, Michigan, went to rest on January 6, 2010, after a lengthy illness. Bud was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis, his son, Mark, his daughter, Susan and his sister, Marilyn Misner. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his four sons, Scott (Shari) of Eugene, Oregon; Terry (Debi) of Muir, Roger (Mary) of Portland, Dennis (Sally) of Lyons, and daughter-in-law, Sandy of Portland and two step-daughters, Jane Jones of Hendersonville, TN and Sharon (Max) Yearwood of Middleton, TN, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce Deising of Bolingbrook, IL. Bud proudly served his country both in the United States Army and the United States Air Force. He was employed at Diamond Reo for several years until it closed. He enjoyed fishing, mushrooming and camping with his family. He also enjoyed cooking, teaching all of his sons to do the same and watching Mark Martin and NASCAR every weekend. He was a long time member of the Grand River Conservation Club. The family would like to thank the staff of the Grand Rapids Home for Veteran’s for his care, where Bud has resided since November 2008. Also a special thanks to Dr. Paul Minnick, his family physician. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 11, 2010 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home of Portland. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.schraubenlehman.com.
