Margaret Maag

Age 95, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 in Holt, MI. She was born on February 16, 1909 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Andrew and Mary (Mazzola) Brozany.  Mrs. Maag lived her entire life on their farm in Eagle, raising six children.  She delivered eggs and chickens from house to house to support her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; 2 children, Theodore and Francis Maag; 1 brother and 1 sister.  Surviving are her children, Brice (Donna) Maag of Belding, Paul (Diane) Maag of Portland, Patricia (Edward) Maag of Portland, and Terry (Sharon) Maag of Lansing; 19 Grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  The Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Steve Burkhart, Pastor of Eagle Wesley Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2004 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland with interment following at North Eagle Cemetery, Eagle, MI. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday.  For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of One's Choice, in memory of Margaret A. Maag.
