Margaret Zander

Margaret Joyce Zander Ionia Age 81, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2007. She was born on January 15, 1926 in Ionia the daughter of Elmer and Edna Buxton. Margaret enjoyed crocheting, bingo, playing cards, and traveling. She also enjoyed giving candy out at the nursing homes and was known as a very caring person whose greatest love was her family. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Edward Zander, sons Gerald E. Zander and John Zander, sister Alva Martin, and brothers Vincent Buxton and Verner Buxton. She is survived by her daughters Rosemary Northrup and Joanne L. Zander both of Ionia, sons Mike L. Zander of Ionia, Bill Zander of Ionia, and Steve (Monica) Zander of Grand Rapids, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and brother Wayne (Carol) Roushe of Ionia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia with Pastor Kenneth Harger presiding.
